We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay at Casa Thomae. Here are a few guidelines we all follow to keep our home safe and enjoyable for us all to enjoy for many years to come. It is our hope that you will want to return on a regular basis.
The "No-No's"
- No smoking
- No pets
- No unsupervised kids in the hot tub
- No sandy/wet feet, towels, stuff, and/or people above the ground floor
- No wet bathing suits on the indoor furniture
- No loud music or noise after 10PM (per subdivision rules)
- No speeding through the subdivision
- No parking on the street — including boats (per subdivision rules)
General Housekeeping
Trash days are on Monday and Thursday and they usually pick up about 8AM. Everything must be in the trash containers provided, with the lids secured, if left out overnight (there are coyotes and other critters on the island). Bagged trash should only be placed outside on the morning of pick-ups. Outdoor trash bags are kept in the guest garage near the trash cans. Indoor trash bags are kept in the kitchen pantry. We normally double bag the kitchen trash before taking it down the stairs to prevent leaving a trail of "leakage".
Cleaning Service
Will normally only come once per week — just before and just after your stay. If desired, the cleaning service can be called in for additional visits for additional charges. Alternatively, you may change towels and linens sooner if you wish and/or use the washer/dryer as needed.
The Common Courtesies
This is our home and place for many family gatherings. We are happy to share it with you, and only ask that you treat our home, like you would like us to treat your home if we were staying there.
You are welcome to use, eat, or drink whatever we've left available in the home — we just ask that you treat it with respect, clean it, and/or replace it as applicable.
Accidents happen
If you can clean it up without a trace, great. If not, let us know as soon as possible to prevent long-term damages and excessive damage charges.
